Passkeys (fingerprint or face sign-in) work on the board's https address.
Type the email you're listed with under People, and a code is emailed to you. The main admin
leaves it empty: their code goes to the board's problem-report address.
Type the code from the email with a new PIN.
Tap any part of the board to change it.
Drag a box to move it up, down or to the other side (on a phone, tap it first) — it snaps into place. Drag the white
handle on a box to make it taller or shorter, or the handle on the side columns to make them wider.
Tap the board to edit
Tap a box, a poster, the zmanim, the logo or the slogan on the board to change it. To put a new box on the board, tap + Add a box. The scrolling banners, the location and
PIN are under ⚙ Settings.
Posters
Off: two poster spots, left and right. On: one big spot in their place.
Left poster spot
Right poster spot
Big poster across both spots
These fill both spots as one big poster (they still fade and follow their dates). When none of
them is within its dates, the two normal spots come back by themselves.
When a spot has more than one poster, they fade from one to the next. Give a poster dates to show it only
on those days (both included), e.g. an event poster until the day of the event. Everything here applies to the display right away. Poster shape and
direction, and where the spots go, are under ⚙ Settings → Layout.

Add a box
A new box appears at the bottom of the right side. Drag it on the board to move it anywhere (on a phone, tap it first).
Location
Zmanim are shown in the display computer's time zone.
Zmanim
Look & colors
Same layout either way. In Modern, the box color below sets the glow color (clock, tagline, dots); leave it on Gold (original) for the rainbow glow.
Background picture
Every change here shows on the board right away.
One box's own colors
Colors for just this one box. They win over the colors picked for the whole board. Tap a box on the board to pick it here.
To color only some words: in the box's text, select the words, pick a color and tap "Color the words I selected".

Right side
Every change here shows on the board right away.
Scrolling banners
The text rolls to the right across the screen, over and over. The banners sit on top of the board along
its top and bottom edges, so the rest of the board stays where it is. Press Save after changing anything here.
Saved layouts
Save the board's whole look (Layout and Look & colors) under a name, and switch
between your saved ones with one tap. The boxes' text and the posters stay as they are.
Flyers by email
Email the details of a speech to the board's Gmail (for example "Rabbi Cohen,
Thursday 8:30pm, Chizuk for Elul"). The AI designs a flyer and emails it back to you. Reply YES to put it on the
board, NO to cancel, or write what to change. Attach a photo to use it for that speaker (it's saved for next time).
The flyer disappears by itself after the speech.
The Google script's code — copy it into script.google.com
The board emails them for this Shabbos's information, and their answers go straight into the Shabbos box. Leave blank to not ask.
Speakers' photos
When an emailed flyer is for one of these speakers, the AI puts their photo on it.
Photos attached to flyer emails are added here by themselves.
Backups
The board saves a copy of everything (boxes, posters, settings) once a day and keeps
the last two weeks. If something gets deleted or messed up, put back the board as it was on an earlier day.
Restoring saves today's board first, so you can always go back.
Updates
The board checks for a new version every few hours and installs it at night by itself.
If a new version doesn't start, the board goes back to the one before it.
Undo & history
Every change to the board, newest first. Undo puts the board back the way it
was just before that change (pictures that were taken off come back too). An undo is itself a change, so it can be undone.
Problems
When something goes wrong (the program crashes, a flyer email fails, an update
doesn't work, the screen stops showing the board) the board emails a report, wherever you are. It goes through
the board's Gmail, so Flyers by email must be set up.
Institution
Who this board belongs to. The AI uses it when it makes flyers and answers emails, and the name shows in the logo's place until a logo is uploaded.
The staff page is only for importing speakers' photos (🎤 Speakers' photos). Leave it blank if you don't have one.
Display settings
The admin PIN is the main one. People can also get their own PIN under People below.
Peppa pops up from behind the clock on the board for a few seconds.
People
Give each person their own PIN. Then the history and every sign show who did it,
and when a sign has been up for 3 days or more, the board emails the person who put it up to ask if it can come down.
Office page only people get just the simple office page.
Signed in now
Phones and computers that used the admin or office page in the last 5 minutes.
Sign out keeps that person out for 5 minutes (on every phone and computer), then they must type their PIN
again. Someone using the shared admin or office PIN is kept out only on that one device. (To keep someone out for
good, change or remove their PIN.)
🌍 Remote access
Open the admin page or the office page from anywhere (home, a phone on its own
internet), not only on the Wi-Fi here. Anyone with the address can reach the PIN screen — use PINs that aren't easy to guess.
Visitors from other countries are turned away before they even see the PIN screen. Someone using a
VPN can still get through, and you'll be turned away yourself when abroad - add the country before you travel.
👀 Visitors from outside
Who opened the board's pages from the internet in the last 2 weeks (not the Wi-Fi here).
Sign in with your fingerprint or face instead of typing the PIN. A passkey
can't be guessed, so wrong-PIN lockouts never stop it. Passkeys only work on the board's https address (the
remote-access address); the PIN still works everywhere.
